MOVIES: Almost Famous I am on holiday right now and instead of spending my days at the beach I am watching loads of movies. To be fair, it is the rainy month here in brazil. Anywho I just finished watching Almost Famous. I remember watching parts of this movie a while back and telling myself to actually watch the full thing. WOW, it was good. I was almost hugging myself as I watched it. The way the girls live in the movie is basically how I wish my life could be like. It’s the story of a 15-year-old kid, smart and earnest who through luck gets assigned by Rolling Stone magazine to do a profile of a rising rock band. I am not a huge fan of Kate Hudson, but she played her character perfectly. The movie has an authentic rock and roll feel and although the story of a bickering band and the music vs. the money is a very worn tale, I thought this movie told the story in a very fresh kind of way. I loved all the music and the everything was so pretty to look at, with the 70s clothes and all.
